As Fred’s Footsteps marks two decades of supporting families in crisis, we are proud to share our 2024 Impact Report—a testament to the power of community, compassion, and your unwavering generosity.

This past year, we reached an extraordinary milestone: $10 million in direct support provided to families navigating the challenges of caring for a seriously ill, injured, or disabled child. In just the past year alone, we invested $1 million into rent and mortgage assistance, home modifications, adapted transportation, utility bills, and so much more for 145 families across our region.

The report reveals the deepening challenges our families face:

• A growing nursing care crisis and lack of accessible transportation,
• Rising housing costs that force families into instability,
• A surge in trauma-related cases, with 20 families impacted in 2024 alone.

In response, we’ve doubled down on our commitment:

• We’ve increased our grant limits to meet urgent needs with even greater impact,
• We’ve pledged $5 million in new funding over the next five years,
• And we’ve refreshed our brand—while staying rooted in the legacy of G. Fred DiBona Jr.—to carry us forward with strength and clarity.

But numbers only tell part of the story.
