Launched in 2015 in honor of the organization’s 10th Anniversary, the Fred’s Footsteps Fellowship Program engages emerging leaders in the Philadelphia Community to establish the next generation of servant leadership. The 18-month program provides networking opportunities, exposure to regional business and community leaders who serve as “faculty”, and personal and professional growth opportunities through intimate dialogue and the study of leadership models and competencies.
Program highlights include a two-day workshop/conference where Fellows are exposed to leadership perspectives and experiences through
intimate discussions, case studies, and featured speakers; and networking events and “lunch and learn” opportunities where Fellows are invited to spend time with some of the region’s most noteworthy movers and shakers.
Faculty is uniquely composed of Fred’s Footsteps Board Members, regional thought leaders, and some of the area’s top business and nonprofit professionals.
Former Fellow Chris Curcio explains, “After meeting with and learning from some of the region’s most influential leaders, we were asked to take everything that we learned and combine that with our diverse experience to execute service-learning projects that would directly benefit Fred’s Footsteps and the families they serve. While the programming was incredible, the most impactful part of the program was the service project. The project brought the fellows together to work in teams on opportunities that would have a direct and tangible impact.”
