Meet Cecilia

Meet this brave and beautiful cancer warrior, Cecilia, of Gloucester County, New Jersey.

11-year-old Cecilia was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma. In addition to intensive chemotherapy, treatment included amputation of her arm last year.

Fred’s Footsteps provided two months of their mortgage during this very difficult time. Her mother says it best: “I really do not know what we would have done without your organization.  Being able to be at the hospital, and not have to worry about how I’m going to keep food on the table and a roof over our heads, was such a relief and much appreciated.  I had to take a leave of absence from work to be at her side. Without Fred’s Footsteps, I would not have been able to be with my daughter.  I am forever grateful for you!”
