Nearly 240 golfers joined us on Monday, September 17 for the 14th Annual Golf Fun Day. Golfers teed off at Philadelphia Country Club and Gulph Mills Golf Club for a day of fun, followed by cocktails and dinner at Philadelphia Country Club. We are excited to announce that this was our largest fundraising event to-date, raising over $400,000 to support families in our area who are caring for sick, injured, or disabled children. Our deepest appreciation to everyone who joined us in making this event such an enormous success.
Fred’s Footsteps hosted its first Golf Fun Day on September 12, 2005. That event was the launching point for what has grown into a successful nonprofit providing a lifeline of support to hard-working, deserving families in our region when they need it most. In 2015, we celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the organization by selling out not one, but two golf courses, and raising a record-breaking $360,000 from the event. Since then, the event has continued to grow, requiring the use of both Philadelphia Country Club and Gulph Mills Golf Club. Our success is thanks to incredible community supporters and sponsors who make our work possible through their generous support each year.
