Golf Fun Day

Fred’s Footsteps is grateful that we are able to continue to serve our community and even INCREASE our commitment to families during these difficult times. We can only do this because of the incredible support of our friends and sponsors over the last 15 years.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our socially-distanced 16th Annual Golf Fun Day on Monday, September 21, 2020, at Philadelphia Country Club and Gulph Mills Golf Club. While this year’s event was certainly different, it was still a wonderful golf experience that raised significant funds to further our mission of supporting families caring for critically ill children.

Join our “Giving through Golf” campaign. Gather your group and play a round of golf at your home course at your leisure to celebrate the incredible work that you are enabling Fred’s Footsteps to accomplish with families in our region. We will send Fred’s Footsteps swag for your team ahead of time, and then send us a photo of your group after you have played! Donations of $1500 and above will receive:

  • Sponsor recognition on website and in printed program (to be distributed in gift bags)
  • Social Media spotlight
  • Photo of your foursome featured in our year-end annual Gratitude Report.

Event History

Fred’s Footsteps hosted its first Golf Fun Day on September 12, 2005. That event was the launching point for what has grown into a successful nonprofit providing a lifeline of support to hard-working, deserving families in our region when they need it most. In 2015, we celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the organization by selling out not one, but two golf courses, and raising a record-breaking $360,000 from the event. Since then, the event has continued to grow, requiring the use of both Philadelphia Country Club and Gulph Mills Golf Club. Our success is thanks to incredible community supporters and sponsors who make our work possible through their generous support each year.
