Thank you for an incredible night. Fred’s Loves Philly – and Philly showed up!
Fred’s Footsteps brought the spirit of Philadelphia to life at this year’s Party in the Yard, raising $348,000 to support working families caring for a seriously ill, injured, or disabled child. Held at URBN’s headquarters in the Philadelphia Navy Yard, the evening celebrated Fred’s love for the city with unforgettable Philly touches – from “golden” statues of Rocky and Ben Franklin and a visit from Eagles mascot, Swoop, to a green screen photo booth and the glowing “Fred’s Loves Philly” display. Most importantly, every bid, raffle ticket, and paddle raised helped power our mission of providing financial relief to families facing medical hardship.

Fred’s Footsteps held its first spring fundraiser – The Party in the Park – on June 8, 2007 at Franklin Square Park in Philadelphia. The park had recently re-opened following a multi-million dollar rehabilitation by Historic Philadelphia, Inc., and was sparkling with its beautiful Merry-go-round and miniature golf course. After three years in the park, the event moved to Fairmount Park’s Please Touch Museum for four successful years before finding its home at Urban Outfitters, Inc. in the Philadelphia Navy Yard. 2026 marks our 12th year in this incredible, exclusive location. Now appropriately named the Party in the YARD, the event has been deemed by many the most fun event of the season!
