Fred’s Footsteps was honored to receive a $17,000 grant at the 2026 Project W Grant Awards Celebration, an inspiring evening recognizing local nonprofits making a meaningful difference throughout Delaware County.
Founded in 2019, Project W is a women’s giving circle that brings together philanthropic-minded women who believe in the power of collective giving. Members pool their resources, learn about community needs, and award grants to organizations working to improve the lives of women and families. Since its founding, Project W has awarded more than half a million dollars to local nonprofits!
Fred’s Footsteps was one of four organizations recognized at this year’s celebration, alongside Well Rooted, Teachers’ Teammates, and Wesley House. Together, the honorees received $60,000 in grants supporting health, education, and family well-being across the community.
We are deeply grateful to the members of Project W for believing in our mission and investing in the families we serve. Their generosity will help provide critical financial relief to local families caring for seriously ill, injured, or disabled children, bringing stability and peace of mind when they need it most.
