Party in the Yard breaks fundraising record
Thank you for the unwavering show of support in 2022

Party in the Yard, our annual fundraising event, returned in-person on May 14, 2022 to Urban Outfitters, Inc. at the Navy Yard.

Guests enjoyed a night of Roaring 20’s-themed cocktails, appetizers, dinner and dancing – not to mention silent auction, “Wall of Wine” pull, jewelry shopping with Kendra Scott, a liquor ring toss, and 360° photo booth. The raffle prize featured his and hers luxury accessories from Bloomingdale’s.

The program included a live auction with “Dinner with a purpose at Zahav,” a night of intimate conversation about food insecurity and renowned Middle-Eastern cuisine, with Chef Michael Solomonov and Not Impossible Labs’ Mick Ebeling taking top billing.

This year’s program also highlighted the Wallace family, whose daughter, Grace, fought for her life after being born at just 24 weeks. Grace finally came home after 223 days in the neonatal ICU, to a house and family kept together with help from Fred’s Footsteps.

Party in the Yard was even featured on the 6abc evening broadcast!

We are thrilled to report that this year’s event set the record for the most money ever raised at Party in the Yard: $355,000. What an amazing testament to this community!  We are beyond grateful for the unmistakable show of support. Because you were there for us, we can continue to be there for families in our region caring for a medically-complex child.
